In the large majority of lockouts we use non-destructive entry, which means we open the lock without harming your door or the mechanism, so there is nothing to replace afterwards. If a lock has been vandalised or is already broken we will always explain the options and price before doing any drilling.

Standard daytime call-outs start from £59 and night, weekend and bank-holiday emergencies start from £89. There is no call-out fee and we confirm a fixed price before starting, so the figure we quote is the figure you pay.

Every Rapid Lock engineer is DBS-checked and works to Master Locksmiths Association (MLA) approved standards. We carry ID and will happily show it before starting any work.

Yes. We fit BS3621 British Standard and anti-snap euro cylinder locks that meet the requirements of most UK home-insurance policies, and we provide documentation of what was fitted.

Almost always. A uPVC or composite door that won't lift or lock usually has a failed multipoint gearbox. We diagnose the exact part, carry common gearboxes on the van, and repair or replace the mechanism in a single visit wherever possible.
